About Us
Award Winning Dance Studio, located in South-East London/ Kent.
Art of Dance Academy (formally known as CR Dance Company) was established in 2018 and has since become a leading centre for introductions to dance, advanced training and dance foundations.
Here at AODA, we believe every child matters. Our mission as a training centre is to inspire and to be inspired, to provide a home to young performers, where they feel celebrated: a place where curious minds can thrive, where identity is created & individuality is encouraged.
We aim to cater to all newcomers who enter our home and guarantee that there is a class suitable for every child, regardless of ability or experience. Not only do we focus on the physical ability of our pupils, but pride ourselves in supporting and advocating the importance of mental health in young dancers and adolescence.

Universal Dance Champion of Champion
In October of 2022, a group of our advanced girls flew across to Ireland to compete at the Universal Dance Championships. Across the weekends the small team, consisting of just 12 dancers, managed to bring back over 30 trophies, 20 of which being 1st place awards. All our first place winners then went on to compete in the Overall Event, with our dancer LYZA LITCHMORE, Age 13 winning the Champion of Champion down and a trip to New York to train at the renowned Broadway Dance Center.
Take the Stage Competition
Our most recent Competition in the UK. We started off the 2023 Season with a TTS regional heat in Brighton. Only a small handful competing and the team managed to clean up!

Classes We Offer at AODA.
Come Dance With Us!
At AODA, we offer a variety of classes, tailored to all ages and abilities. Our faculty has been brought together to provide our members with top-class training and a positive working environment. Our instructors are fully qualified and hand selected to provide a diverse and nurtured experience for all members.

Fitness & Flexibility
Majority of our sessions begin with an intensive warm-up, targeting stamina, strength and endurance, followed by a full body stretch. This is a favourite among many of our students who love a physical challenge.
Lyrical & Contemporary
Led by some of our top-level instructors, this class is an important way to explore connections and interpretive dance techniques. Often our choreography leans into emotive themes that inspire memorable and empowering performances within class & later, on stage.
Acro & Elevation
Another favourite amongst our students. Build confidence and learn new acrobatic skills, tumbles, tricks and jumps to elevate performances and enhance that 'wow' factor. Enjoy the opportunity to train with our leading instructors and leave feeling excited, accomplished and full of inspiration.
Commercial Dance
Keep it current with our energetic and feel-good Commercial classes, lead by our artistic trainer, Samantha Elmer. We offer multiple sessions aimed at selected age groups to keep the classes relevant and accessible to all.
Progressive Ballet Technique
Whether you’re looking to learn new methods or develop existing skills, our PBT Class has it all. Our and founder principal ensures every member gets personal attention and recognises visible improvements, whilst keeping the class collaborative and fun. This class is all about expanding knowledge, implementing technique and staying true to the foundations of ballet.
Jazz Technique
Our Jazz Technique classes are the ideal way to develop well-rounded dance skills and overall performance quality. These sessions are full of energy, versatility and keep dance fun and lively. our classes combine styles and techniques from a variety of influential artists who have been pioneers to the roots & developments of Jazz dance.
